Arrival Procedures

Help us keep morning arrival safe, efficient, and moving smoothly for all of our Freedom Eagles!

Morning Arrival Reminders:

Doors open at 7:30am
Right Lane = Student Drop-Off
Left Lane = Parking or Exit Only
Pull all the way forward in the unloading zone so multiple cars can unload at once.
No cell phone use while driving through the arrival line.
Stay in your vehicle while using the arrival/drop-off line.
Walking your child in? Please park and use the designated crosswalk. Wait for a staff member to signal that it is safe to cross.
Students must be accompanied by an adult when crossing the parking lot.
All students enter through the main entrance.
School starts promptly at 7:55am If your student arrives after 7:55am, they must be accompanied by an adult to the front office to sign in.

Important: Students should not exit vehicles before reaching the designated drop-off/unloading zone. Once in the unloading area, please pull forward as far as possible before allowing your student to exit.

Dismissal Procedures

Help us keep afternoon dismissal safe, efficient, and moving smoothly for all of our Freedom Eagles!

Afternoon Dismissal Reminders:

Walkers and bus riders are dismissed at 3:20 p.m.
Car riders are dismissed at 3:25 p.m.

Students are supervised outside for 15 minutes after dismissal begins. After 15 minutes, any student who has not been picked up will be brought to the foyer to wait for their parent/guardian.
No cell phone use in the parking lot while your vehicle is running.
Please refer to the Dismissal Traffic Map for pick-up locations, traffic flow, parking, and no-parking areas.

Student Pick-Up Locations

Walkers: Students will be released through the east doors between the gym and cafeteria.
Pre-K & Kindergarten + Older Siblings: Pre-K and Kindergarten students and their older school-aged siblings will be dismissed from the Kindergarten Wing (East Canopy). Parents should use the right-hand lane. Once you reach the Pre-K/Kindergarten Dismissal Zone, a staff member will assist your child into the backseat passenger side of your vehicle. Please help your child learn to buckle their own seatbelt.
Third Grade + Second Grade (Last Names A–L): Students will be picked up at the Third Grade Wing (West Canopy). Parents should enter the left-hand lane. Staff will direct traffic and guide students safely to their vehicles.
First Grade + Older Siblings: Students will be dismissed from the First Grade Wing (East Wing) in the back parking lot. Enter the back parking lot from Bison Drive and use the left-hand lane. Staff will direct you into the dismissal zone and assist students into the backseat passenger side of the vehicle.
Fourth Grade + Second Grade (Last Names M–Z): Students will be dismissed from the Fourth Grade Wing (West Wing) in the back parking lot. Enter from Bison Drive and remain in the right-hand lane. Staff will guide students to their vehicles and direct traffic when it is safe to exit.

Families with Multiple Students

If you are picking up multiple students, your group may be picked up at the youngest child's designated pick-up location.

For example, if you have a Pre-K or Kindergarten student and a Third Grade student, the Third Grade student may join their younger sibling at the Pre-K/Kindergarten dismissal area.

Please provide written notice to each child's teacher with the pick-up location, students' names, grade levels, and teachers' names so the students can be placed together. Students will not be permitted to go to another pick-up location without parent/guardian consent.

Changes to Dismissal

Any permanent or temporary change to your student's normal dismissal routine must be communicated by a parent/legal guardian in writing or by phone through the student's classroom teacher or the school office.
